職員室で３年生の先生たちが何やら感嘆の声をあげてい
　ましたので、声をかけました。
　英語の担当の先生が英語の授業で生徒が書いた感想文を
　見せてくれました。

　教科書の「Energy and  the  environment  」のところで、
　最後に４分間の時間を使って、自分自身の環境に対する
　感想、意見を英語で書いてもらったそうです。

　短時間にも関わらず、生徒たちは自分の意見を英語で書
　けています。一部を載せています。

　I　think those problems are difficult to solve. Because energy is necessary forour lives. But it’s important to save energy. I think we can do more for ourenvironment. For example, we can walk to a place close to our house without ourcars. It leads to our health, too. So we should start saving energy right now.

I　think we should use clean energy and save energy because fossil fuels producegreenhouse gases and cause global warming. I think it’s very important for ourfuture to save energy.

I think that every house should have solar panels. Because fossil fuels are bad for the environment. But sun energy is clean. I want to save our environment. So I will start saving energy. We should think about problems of the environment.


I　think that it’s necessary to save energy. Because we use too much energy in ourdaily lives. For example, many people use air conditioners and heaters all day.So we should spend less time to use them to save energy.

I　think that it’s important for the environment to save energy. Because if wedon’t it, the earth will become a place where human can’t live in. So we haveto unplug things when we don’t use them.
